Spider-Man On Track for 2021 Release, Marvel’s Avengers Senior Designer Confirms

Good news for Marvel’s Avengers PlayStation players, as it is confirmed that Spider-Man is still scheduled for a release date in 2021. Fans were worried as there had been silence on this topic for some time.

Scott Walters, senior game designer at Crystal Dynamics, spoke with Screen Rant, and confirmed to them that Spider-Man was always intended to be released for 2021, and that those plans haven’t really changed and they are working hard to bring him into the game, even with challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy XI 20th Anniversary website: We Are Vana’diel

Square Enix has just announced the “We Are Vana’diel” website in preparation for Final Fantasy XI‘s 20th Anniversary. It is a celebration of everything FFXI, and will feature:

  • We Remember Vana’diel: A complete timeline of FFXI‘s history, from pre-release to current day, with developer and player commentary.
  • We Illustrate Vana’diel: A collection of FFXI artwork, new and old, from Yoshitaka Amano, Tetsuya Nomura, and more.
  • We Discuss Vana’diel: Producer Akihiko Matsui will have interviews with guests that have deep ties to FFXI over the years. Starting with Hiromichi Tanaka, the original producer, who worked on the game until 2012.
