Nintendo Exec: Metroid Prime 4 coming in 2018

Metroid Prime 4 and the new Pokemon RPG game are apparently coming in 2018, says Nintendo communications director Charlie Scibetta’s interview with Venture Beat. E3 2017 Impressions: Nintendo brings the games

Nintendo brought a slew of fan favorites to the table this E3, with some exciting new installments for series such as Metroid Prime, Pokemon, Yoshi, Kirby, and of course Super Mario Odyssey, which is slated for release October 27, 2017. While some announcements, like Pokemon and Metroid Prime 4, were light on actual content, the mere mention of those particular titles was enough to get people talking, pushing sales, and making Nintendo’s newest console even harder to find. E3 2017: Nintendo sales soar Post-E3 Spotlight

On Amazon’s top 20 best seller list for video games, there are 10 games on the list. 8 of those games are made by Nintendo, the other two Sony. Metroid Prime 4 rumors continue to mount with Deus Ex composer at Retro

Alexander Brandon’s revelation that he is working with Retro Studios has once again cranked the Metroid Prime rumors into overdrive.  Brandon has been a huge Metroid fan for a long time now, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he were to jump at the chance to work on the latest installment. Is this proof of Metroid Prime 4? No, but it is the latest addition to a pool of circumstantial evidence that indicates a new Metroid is coming.
