Days of Play discounts begin on PlayStation Store

Sony announced earlier this week they would be running the Days of Play store promotion, introducing a whole swathe of discounts from today through to June 21st. The majority of games affected are AAA titles by large publishers and developers, all of which have been cut in price anywhere between 10 and 50 percent.

The main difference between Western and Japanese games

Some of the views I hold make me seem biased against Western games, but that’s simply not the case. I just happen to value gameplay more than any other aspect of video games, which is coincidentally, the area where the majority of Western AAA games are weakest. No matter the genre, Nintendo is top of the line

Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn is an amazing game. It’s a very polished first attempt at an open world, which is why it’s hard to believe Guerrilla Games had never done anything of this scale in their history. Horizon Zero Dawn was a feel good story about a massive success from a team that had been pigeonholed into making nothing but the Sony exclusive FPS, Killzone. There were even some favorable comparisons to Witcher 3: Guerrilla Games had created a cutting edge open world that could stand with the best of them.
