E3 2017 Impressions: Nintendo brings the games
Nintendo brought a slew of fan favorites to the table this E3, with some exciting new installments for series such as Metroid Prime, Pokemon, Yoshi, Kirby, and of course Super Mario Odyssey, which is slated for release October 27, 2017. While some announcements, like Pokemon and Metroid Prime 4, were light on actual content, the mere mention of those particular titles was enough to get people talking, pushing sales, and making Nintendo’s newest console even harder to find. E3 2017: Shadow of the Colossus ‘Remake’ Announced
In a relatively out-of-left-field move, Sony announced that they are remaking Shadow of the Colossus for PS4. The PS2 classic originally released in 2005, was remasted on PS3 in 2011, and is widely regarded as one of the most influential of all time. Sony’s Japan Studio revealed that they have been working on bringing Shadow of the Colossus to PlayStation 4, with an absolutely stunning trailer, newly detailing the classic game with the power of the PS4 Pro.
