Earlier today, Geoff Keighley, creator and producer of The Game Awards, announced the lineup for the E3 Colisuem, “a spectacular main stage event that will connect video game fans with the biggest names in entertainment.” The event will feature two days full of demos, panel discussions, and epic one-on-one interviews. Age of Triumph, the most recent patch for Destiny was the final update for the game. Bungie has stated that they wanted to focus exclusively on the sequel in a blog post on their website. “All hands at Bungie are committed to making Destiny 2 the sequel that this community deserves.” They also confirmed that there will be Destiny 2 information at E3 2017.
