A job listing for a Game Performance Manager to work with “a team that is pushing bleeding-edge AAA freemium game development” has gone up for the developers’ Montreal branch. This February at D.I.C.E., Bethesda Game Studios director-figurehead Todd Howard announced a total of seven different projects currently being undertaken by the star-studded devs.
Included in these seven are a previously untitled mobile game, Fallout 4’s VR port, Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch — for which we’ve seen a fair amount of footage — and the almost mythological yet incredibly distant Elder Scrolls 6.
The case may be that this AAA freemium title is the previously tipped mobile project, or could be one of the three unknown titles included in that seven.
Over the past few years, since the release of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda has played their cards close to their chest; Fallout 4 was both officially revealed and released during the space of just over five months. All leaks and tips should therefore be taken with a pinch of salt, but E3 is coming up, so either way, this is exciting.
All speculation and opinions on what this could be and future Bethesda titles are encouraged in the comments section below!
