The sky pirates of Dalmasca had quite the pleasant surprise when they opened Square’s Online Store as soon as the “Spooky Sale” went up: Final Fantasy XII – The Zodiac Age (the upcoming remaster of the elusive Japan-only special version of FFXII) was already available at a generous discount of 50% off despite not even having a release date yet! However, not everything went according to the early birds’ expectations…

According to user ynsuin from Reddit, the company apologized for the pricing error and refunded the transaction, granting a small gift as some sort of compensation for the customer’s shattered dreams of being one step closer to such an anticipated release.
