In case you missed it, Shadow Warrior 2’s launch trailer wants to remind you that the game doesn’t take itself too seriously. “The Touch” by Stan Bush? Yep. Gratuitous, comedic violence? Check. References to wanting some Wang? whowantssome.wang.
Our review is still upcoming, but the general consensus so far is that developer Flying Wild Hog has outdone their first attempt and proven its charm wasn’t a fluke. Of course, there’s a reason Devolver Digital is so well respected as a publisher: Almost everything put out under their label is a solid title. Shadow Warrior 2 is no exception.
Shadow Warrior 2 is out now on PC and scheduled for a 2017 Q1 release on PS4 and XB1
